EPDM Roofing in NH & MA

EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) is a synthetic rubber stock used mostly on flat commercial applications. EPDM is also commonly used on residential minimal slope applications.

EPDM rubber stock is purchased in rolls and is typically cut to size for your job. EPDM membranes have the integrity to hold up over years of climate changes, inclement weather, extreme UV exposure and the ability to stay flexible at cold temperatures. EPDM is also more resistant to tears and punctures.

EPDM has the following advantages for use on low slope or flat roofs:

  • Hail resistant
  • Easy to install
  • Easy to repair
  • Ultra resistant to UV rays
  • Resistant to thermal shock
  • Wind rating to 120 MPH

EPDM Warranty

Most membranes are covered for 25 years or more. Like other roofing installations, the life expectancy is dependent on other factors such as foot traffic on the roof, ventilation, water retention, etc. Most EPDM roofs can be repaired to extend the life of the roof.
